Virginia Estes Thompson

Virginia Estes Thompson, 69, of Lower Paxton Twp. passed away peacefully Friday, January 31, 2025 at her residence.

A 1973 graduate of Cedar Cliff High School, she was retired from Defense Logistics Agency at Susquehanna. She was an avid gardener and loved her family and friends with her whole heart. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She was born June 14, 1955 in Williamsport to the late David Richard and Audrey Ann (Hunn) Estes.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas M. Thompson; son, Daniel M. Thompson (Kirstyn) of Steelton; grandchildren, Cole and Ensley Thompson; sisters, Trish Lapp (Michael) of Newport and Karen Darrenkamp (Robert) of Harrisburg; her nephews David Lapp, Andrew Lapp and neice Katie Lapp.

A Celebration of Virginia’s Life will be held at a date and location to be announced.
