Vivian M. Kugle

Vivian M. Kugle, 86, of Harrisburg, formerly of York died Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Colonial Park Care Center, Lower Paxton Twp.

She was a retired Water Safety Specialist from American Red Cross, Central PA Chapter, Harrisburg. She also taught swimming at HACC for over 23 years. A 1976 Cum Laude graduate of Millersville University, she was President of York County Council of PTA’s, a Girl Scout Leader, and Choir Director at Quickels Lutheran Church in York. She enjoyed swimming and gardening.

She was born August 17, 1934 in Newville to the late Henry and Mildred (Seiders) Sheller. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Arlene Rhodes.

She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Leicht of Dover and Lori Durborow (Stephen) of Harrisburg; siblings, Shirley Sheaffer, Jean Richwine, and David Sheller; grandchildren, Daniel Leicht, Jr. Kristen Leicht, Stephanie Fletcher, and Nicole Reese; and six great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be from 10-11am Friday at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland. Private services due to the pandemic will follow with interment in Rolling Green Cemetery.
