Volodymyr Ignatovich Kolisa, 76, of New Cumberland, Pennsylvania, passed away on June 9, 2024 at home. He was born on August 15, 1947 in Horokhiv, Ukraine to the late Ignat Kolisa and Sophia (Sofulko) Kolisa. Volodymyr worked as a truck driver for many years before his retirement and was an active member of the House of Prayer in Wrightsville. He was a simple man who loved to spend time outdoors and with his family. He was always happy, especially when he was tinkering with cars or putting things back together.
Volodymyr is survived by his wife, Halyna (Moskaluk) Kolisa; his daughter, Kateryna (Sergey) Podgorodniy; 2 grandchildren, Alina and Arthur Podgorodniy; 2 brothers, Vasiliy and Aleksandr Kolisa; a sister-in-law, Natalya Maksymiv; a brother-in-law, Bogdan Maksymiv; a nephew, Yevgeniy Maksymiv and a niece, Ira Maksymiv. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A viewing will be held at Parthemore Funeral Home on Thursday, June 13, 2024 from 6 - 8 PM and on Friday, June 14, 2024 from 10 - 10:30 AM. A funeral will follow at 10:30 AM with Pastor Yevgeniy Nadtochey officiating. Burial will take place at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in New Cumberland following the funeral at 12:30 PM.
