Wanda Eileen Mckeown

Wanda Eileen McKeown, 71, formerly of Lewisberry, Fairview Twp., passed away at ManorCare Camp Hill on Tuesday, February 13, 2018.

She retired as a secretary at the former New Cumberland Army Depot; and was a member of VFW Post #537 Ladies Auxiliary, Etters and the Goldsboro Firemen’s Club. Wanda assisted clients through the York County Department of Aging, and enjoyed playing Bingo, reading and crocheting.

Born on June 2nd, 1946, in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Glenn L. and Eva L. (Wolf) Wilt. She was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Ann Wilt.

Surviving are a daughter, Jane M. McKeown, and her boyfriend Scott Snelbaker, of Lewisberry; a son and his wife, Glenn J. and Michelle M. McKeown, of Malvern; and two grandchildren, Jack and Clare.

Funeral services will be held at 11AM, Monday, February 19th, at Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland, with the Reverend Jonathan M. Bowers officiating. Private burial will be held at Paddletown Cemetery, Newberry Twp., at the convenience of the family.

A viewing will take place one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
