Warren V. Foster

Warren V. Foster, 68, of Etters, died Thursday, March 20, 2014 in Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.
He was a retired General Manager for the Carpet Barn, Fairview Twp., attended local Lutheran Churches, was a member of York Lodge 266 F&AM, Harrisburg Consistory, Zembo Shrine, Goldsboro Fireman’s Club, NRA, Street Machine Association, Fraternal Order of Police and was the president and co-founder of the Central PA Corvette Club.
Warren was born in Philadelphia to the late Warring V. and Margaret (Ferk) Foster. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Margaret Adams.
He was the widower of Claire F. (Barrick) Foster and is survived by his daughters, Kelly C. Gorman and husband Kevin of Lewisberry and Shannon C. Baker and husband Tyson of Etters; a brother Jerald W. Foster of Alpharetta, GA and a sister Jeanne Hineline of York; four grandchildren, McKinnah Baker, Declan Gorman, Payten Gorman and Tyson Baker.
A memorial service will be held at 12:30 pm Tuesday, March 25, 2014 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland with the Rev. Jim Polanzke officiating. Visitation will be from 11 am until the Masonic Service at 12:15 pm, all in the funeral home. Private committal services will be held at the convenience of the family.
