Wendy S. Shue

Wendy S. Shue, 67, of Lemoyne, died Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at her home.

Born in Phoenix, AZ, on March 2, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Wallace and Evelyn Melander. She moved to Pennsylvania as a young adult and decided to make it her home after finding meaningful work as a family nanny. Her true life passion was being a mother to her three children and she adored all of her grandchildren. Wendy loved family vacations to the beach, good Mexican food, and 70s classic rock music. Wendy also had a sweet tooth - a trait that was passed along to all of her children.

Surviving are her husband of 34 years, Thomas H. Shue; two daughters and their husbands, Jessica H. and Patrick A. McCloskey of Elizabethtown, and Emily P. and Matthew K. Johnson of New Cumberland; her son, Thomas M. Shue of Lemoyne; her grandchildren, Audrey, Camden, Kellan, Ryder, Hollis and Maverick; her two sisters, Jeanne Birney of Washington state and Laurie Dunnagan of Alaska.
