Wilbur "Bill" L. Hoffman

Wilbur L. "Bill" Hoffman, 62, of Lower Allen Twp., Camp Hill, died Tuesday, November 12, 2013, at Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.

He retired as a forklift operator for the former Defense Distribution Region East, New Cumberland and was an Army Veteran of the Viet Nam War. Bill was a huge NASCAR fan and in particular, a fan of Jeff Gordon. Born on September 12, 1951, in Williamsport, he was the son of the late Walter and Phoenie L. (Gable) Lamont.

Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Barbara J. Myers Hoffman; a son, Jon A. of Camp Hill; a daughter, Angela J. Snow of Steelton; three brothers, Clarence of NJ, Leo of VA, and Steven of MA; two sisters, Rebecca Danser of NY, and Victoria Vancise of TN; four grandchildren, Justin, Damian, Sulaye and Gabriel.

Graveside services will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Lower Paxton Twp., with Marty Willard, Certified Lay Minister, officiating.
