William H. Ackley

William H. Ackley, 78, of Lewisberry, passed away June 8, 2020 in his residence from ALS.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Sandra L. Ackley (Hewitt), daughter, Gail Ackley of Florida, son, William J. Ackley (Lisa) of Mt. Holly Springs, stepdaughter, Shelley Wentz (Brad Wintermyer) of Lewisberry, twin stepsons, Scott Kuhn (Andi) of Lancaster, and Steven Kuhn (Kata) of Hungary, also three sisters in Florida, and two grandchildren and 5 step grandchildren.

He was retired from the New Cumberland Army Depot and PA Department of Corrections. He was a veteran of the US Air Force, a member of the Goldsboro Fireman’s Club, VFW Post 537, American Legion Post 974 and the West Shore Sportsman’s Club.

At his request, there will be no viewing or services.
