William K. Zeigler, 86, of New Cumberland, died Monday, December 4, 2017, at Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Middlesex Twp.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and was also a veteran of the Pennsylvania National Guard; a member of Oakwood Baptist Church, Camp Hill; West Shore Senior Center, New Cumberland; a 1950 graduate of Camp Hill High School and a member of “The Last of the Good Guys” of Camp Hill High School. Born on July 29, 1931, in Camp Hill, he was the son of the late James R. and Evelyn (Horst) Zeigler. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ted and Russell.
Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Betty Jane (Henderson) Zeigler; a daughter, Vicki L. Bennie of Tucson, AZ; a son and his wife, Robert L. and Jacee R. Zeigler of Orrstown; five grandchildren, Lindsey, Kurt, Zachary, Jordan and Jemma; four great grandsons.
Memorial services will be held at 11:30 AM on Thursday, December 28, 2017, at Oakwood Baptist Church, Camp Hill. Visitation will be held from 10:30 until the time of services in the church.
