William L. Smee

William L. Smee, 91, of New Cumberland, passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2017 in Manor Care, Camp Hill.

He was a retired Owner/Operator of Smee & Sons, New Cumberland and a WWII Army veteran.

He was a member of VFW Post 7415, New Cumberland, American Legion Post 143, New Cumberland and Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 410, Steelton.

Bill was born in Harrisburg to the late Stanley F. and Cora J. (Landis) Smee, Sr. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his loving wife Rosetta M. (Casner) Smee and a daughter Rose M. Bender.

He is survived by a daughter Sandra L. Farley of Port Orange, FL; five grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, March 23, 2017 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland with the Rev. Margaret Spengler officiating. Viewing will be held one hour prior to service time Thursday in the funeral home. Burial with military honors will be in Rolling Green Cemetery, Lower Allen Twp.
