William T. Stone

William T. Stone, 93, of New Cumberland died Monday, February 19, 2018 at his residence.

He retired as Corporate Tax Officer from Commonwealth of PA, Dept. of Auditor General. He was a Cartoonist with his work appearing in The Patriot-News and other local publications. He was a member of Community United Methodist Church, New Cumberland. He was an active Democrat starting during President Roosevelt’s term participating in state and local politics.

He was born June 11, 1924 in Altona to the late William and Mercedes Ann (Criste) Stone.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Eleanor (Rudy) Stone; a son, Douglas E. Siders of Annville; and a brother, Robert C. of Brownsville, TX.

Visitation will be at 10am followed by a memorial service at 11am Monday at Community United Methodist Church, New Cumberland. The Reverends Manuel Valentin and William Chamberlin will officiate.
