Yang Sun Park, 72 of Camp Hill entered into eternal life with her Lord on Saturday, January 26, 2013 surrounded by her family.
Yang Sun was retired from Iceland Seafood. She was born in Seoul, South Korea. She then immigrated to America without speaking any english towing her four small children all under the age of nine to rejoin her husband a year after his immigration to the United States. It was a year later their fifth child was born in the United States. Yang Sun was proud of her new country and became a U.S. Citizen.
She was an avid gardener, enjoyed walking, and had a passion for cooking. Yang Sun was well known among her family and friends for the BEST KIMCHI in Central Pennsylvania.
She is survived by her husband, five children, three grandsons, one granddaughter, and her extended family.
Our loving mother, wife and friend will be missed by many and loved by all.
An evening viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 from 6-8 PM at Parthemore Funeral Home, 1303 Bridge Street, New Cumberland. A celebration of her life will be held Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at 11 AM at the Redeemer Community Church, 1079 S. Cameron Street, Harrisburg. Burial will be at Rolling Green Memorial Park followed by the service.
