Yvonne M Stum, 88, of Mechanicsburg passed away on April 18, 2025. Born January 5, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Mildred Snyder. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Jack and brother Harold Snyder, Jr. Yvonne and Jack were married 60 years.
Yvonne is survived by three wonderful children: Jeffrey Stum of Florida, Tamora Stum and husband Keith Spangler of Mechanicsburg, Vicki Jetton, husband Kyle, and granddaughter Vayda of Florida, and Brother-in-Law David Stum of Carlisle. She also had her special "Buddy" Warren Brown.
She graduated from New Cumberland High School in 1956.
Yvonne retired from the Philadelphia Steaks & Hoagies, known as "Cupcake" by her customers. She also worked 20 years for the Virginia Nut Shop.
She was active in aerobics with the West Shore Rec for 35 years. She loved to knit and crochet. She also loved to jog and take walks. She enjoyed being with her granddaughter Vayda and loved watching her grow up.
In her retirement years, she and her husband worked at Hersheypark. They spent many winters in Clearwater and enjoyed working for the Philly Spring Training Camp.
Yvonne is a member of the Mt. Olivet Church in Mechanicsburg. A viewing will take place on Friday, April 25, 2025 from 10 - 11 AM with a funeral service to follow at Parthemore Funeral Home. Burial will be at Westminster Memorial Gardens in Carlisle.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and Hospice of Central Pa.
