Ashley Mann, Funeral Director, Joins Parthemore Funeral Home

Ashley was born and raised in the New Cumberland area.


Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services is pleased to welcome Ashley Mann, licensed funeral director, to the staff. One of Ashley’s many responsibilities will include working closely with families to provide meaningful services for their loved ones.


Ashley previously served as a funeral director at several Pennsylvania funeral homes. She earned her B.A. in Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University. After college, she earned an Associate Applied Science degree in Mortuary Science at Worsham College of Mortuary Science, Wheeling IL. She holds a Pennsylvania insurance license and is an ordained minister. 


Ashley was born and raised in the New Cumberland area and currently resides in Mechanicsburg with her husband, Joseph, and their two dogs and four cats. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and baking bread and desserts. She also enjoys reading and spending time with her family and friends.

After a loved one is cremated, about 70% of families opt to take the urn home with them after the funeral services. There are a number of reasons that families choose to take cremated remains home. Some are still working through their grief and want to hold onto their loved one a bit longer, others haven’t given thought to the final disposition of the ashes, or they have been left instructions about scattering or are simply uncertain what to do.
